Before I started working for myself I worked with Aboriginal communities across New South Wales.
I spent a good bit of time travelling across the state meeting with Aboriginal community members and listening to their experiences. Mainly I was focused on how to best ensure their needs were heard by a white government. A government with as short an attention span as the media it was trying to keep on side.
Initially I was employed to coordinate a complex land management deal and a few months into the project, I was invited to speak about it to the Aboriginal leaders of a state wide organisation.
