Perhaps you’ve taken the time to create content only to find you didn’t get the response you were hoping for when you shared it?
It’s happened to every business owner at some point, and how you choose to respond is what will see you still in business in 5 or 10 years’ time.
A common response is to energetically collapse. The experience can trigger rejection wounds that haven’t been healed, or elicit a ‘Why bother?’ kind of response. And if that’s the case, that’s always a sign that there’s some inner work to do.
Plus, there’s a new visibility habit to build; instead of collapsing in defeat, you can choose to reuse the content.
Your efforts haven’t been wasted, the content might just need a few more shares to find its people.
Reuse looks like; reshaping the same content in new forms for different platforms and/or putting the same post back, blog, or episode into rotation for sharing in 3 or 6 months’ time.
Adopting this recycling practice will make you feel so much better about all the effort involved in bringing forth the idea in the first place. Plus it’ll give people a chance to properly absorb your content. People are busy, feeds are full. Putting something out there once isn’t always a great way to serve you or your community.
