Feminine Leadership is for women who want to connect more with a new style of leadership. One that understands the benefits of allowing (rather than pushing), that feels easy and in flow, which values connection and collaboration, and which draws on the power of intuitive guidance.
This stream is particularly for women whose lives have guided them to find a way to be in the world which isn’t all about push and hustle, constant doing and no being.
Feminine leadership is the new form of leadership. One that’s emotionally intelligent, values people and planet, and integrates feminine and masculine principles and values.
Feminine Leadership includes:
RECLAMATIONThe most significant silencing of women in the western world occurred during the 400 years of witch hunts in Europe and North America. Gendercide that used religion to justify its murderous intent, the consequences of that time are still being felt to this day. As a gender we carry the inherited trauma of the witch hunts and until we clear it out, we'll never be free to explore and embody a new form of leadership. That's what 'Reclamation' is all about.
UNPACKING THE GOOD GIRLIn patriarchal societies the feminine is considered weak because it has constructed her as such. She has to please others, she doesn't set boundaries, she always complies. Whenever you're driven by the desire to please, you'll find your inner good girl at play. Until we clear her out, we're stuck in that false construct of who we are and we're disconnected from our true power. That's what 'Unpacking the Good Girl' is all about.
RESPECTIn order to embrace feminine leadership, you need to release all of the ways the world has taught you to disrespect the feminine. Things like slowing down, taking time for yourself, listening to your intuitive guidance rather than what your mind tells you is right or wrong. Allowing things to come to you, rather than 'pushing to make it happen', feeling your emotions and allowing yourself to be seen to have emotions. In this class you'll clear out the ways you've been consciously and unconsciously disrespecting the feminine in your own life.
SEMESTER LONG SUPPORTAs a student of Feminine Leadership, you'll also gain semester long access to The Visibility Group; a private online space for students of The School of Visibility. During the semester there'll be monthly Q&A sessions with School of Visibility founder and CEO, Samantha Nolan-Smith, to answer any questions which came up for you in class, and to personalise the materials to your needs.
Feminine Leadership is focused on:
Clearing out the barriers that stop you from coming back to your true nature. Your true nature is in balance. It’s in alignment. It’s an integrated expression of the feminine and the masculine.
We’ve gotten way out of balance in our society. We’re so tipped in favour of the masculine – and mostly an unhealthy expression of that masculine – that we’ve forgotten what it is to connect with the feminine. To allow her to lead.
In order to redress imbalance we must first clear our gendered fears. Deep unconscious fears of being burned at the stake, of there being some very terrible consequence to being seen and heard in the world. We must release ourselves from the false notion of the feminine that the patriarchy has created for us to keep us small and submissive, quiet and agreeable. And we must release our prejudices against all things feminine so we can effectively express her power.
That’s what Feminine Leadership is all about.
It’ll help you find your voice, reconnect with the truth of yourself, share your words and your work without hesitation or shame, and transform into the visionary leader you were born to be.

Women emerged from the witch hunts as different beings – submissive, obedient, assigned to the home – no longer members of the public realm. And the echoes of the witch hunts exist our us everyday. Women of the 21st century are all too aware of what happens to women who reach too high, claim too much power, or presume equality in patriarchal societies.
Trolls threaten to kill and rape women for speaking up, female politicians being threatened with violence or imprisonment for daring to step forward as leaders, and social media pile ons are rampant – where a person is pilloried for sharing an opinion that challenges the overriding mob mentality.
Clearing our the inherited trauma that has been passed on generation after generation is not only incredibly freeing for you as an individual, it also empowers other women and stops the trauma from being passed onto the next generation of girls. This is how we break the patriarchy; by clearing out its karmic roots.
Unpacking the good girl
Women of the 21st century have had a false feminine construct imposed on us. One that tells us who we are and what is valuable about us, but which has absolutely nothing to do with who we really are. To a greater or lesser degree we’ve all internalised a version of the patriarchal ‘good girl’.
The good girl plays out in many different ways. She’s always trying to please someone – not everyone, but certain people in her life. It might be your parents, your partner, your clients or customers, your boss, your friends, or God, the Goddess or other divine being, your guru or your spiritual teacher.
Whomever it is, taking the time to see the good girl’s patterns of behaviour and releasing yourself from their grip will free you to step forward and speak up in ways you’ve not previously been able to.
Our resistance to intuitive guidance, to feeling emotions, to collaboration, surrender and allowing, all arises from the deep disrespect that society has for the Feminine (feminine values, feminine gifts, feminine ways of being, the feminine face of the divine, and feminine principles). As patriarchy has risen in power over the last 4,000 years, all of these things have been set aside. Deemed unnecessary at best, evil or ridiculous at worst.
We’re all carrying around prejudices about these things. Women are at war with themselves about how to lean into their feminine selves when the masculine voice and way of being is so dominant. In ‘Respect’ you’ll come to understand the deep interconnectivity between the treatment of women and the treatment of the planet, and you’ll step into a new form of leadership that integrates and aligns the masculine and the feminine, rather than idolising one and demonising the other.

Clearing out visibility blocks has helped me to see and understand myself as I actually am. Not as I think I should be. I feel calmer in social situations, more connected in my close relationships, and so much clearer in my heart… It’s has also been instrumental in getting me on the path to healing from adrenal fatigue which had totally and completely overwhelmed my life.
What I love about this work is that it’s not trying to transform you into a better or different person, instead it clears the mental clutter and brings you home to yourself.
– Sophie Jeffries, Postpartum doula and pilates instructor, Australia
I realise how much I’ve been leading from a place of wounding. Having the tools to work through and heal these blocks with compassion and the incredible support system provided has been so freeing. I feel much more empowered and cannot wait to see how that will transform how I step up as a leader for myself and many other women!

The Pack in Detail
Who It’s For
Feminine Leadership is for you if you want to start living and working in a new way. One that feels more aligned to a deeper truth about how human beings were designed to live on planet earth.
It’s for women who know they’ve been working in a way that’s too masculine – too driven, too outcome oriented, too disconnected from the wisdom of the body and the guidance of intuition.
It’s for women who’ve already stepped away from that way of being and are wanting to go deeper. To really embody feminine leadership in its full glory.
It’s for women who know they’ve judged themselves or other women in the past for being too emotional, too weak, too woo woo. (If you’re still judging this and you’re comfortable with that, this class isn’t for you. If you’re moving through the judgment and want support with that, or if you feel you might be on the other side of the judgment but you’re not sure, this is the class for you.)
Specifically it will be a good fit for:
- You’ve found yourself judging your pull toward pursuing a less than traditional career, thinking that you really should get a ‘real job’.
- Women who’ve fallen ill – particularly from adrenal related illnesses – from adopting a lifestyle that doesn’t honour your body.
- Coaches, consultants, and women drawn to empowering other women.
- Alternative therapists, spiritual teachers, and women working in the wellbeing and healing professions.
- Women who have something important to share with the world and who find themselves holding back.
- Women who are ready to show the world what an embodied feminine leader really looks like.
Who It’s By
That’d be me – Samantha Nolan-Smith. I started my online business in 2009 after 4 years of suffering with chronic fatigue. Having started my career in public policy and the law, I was a hard worker. Always busy, always pushing forward, until my body refused to participate any more. Eventually I couldn’t hold down a regular job and it was either the disability pension or something that would allow me to work for a while and sleep for a while and then work again for a bit longer.
Unlike many lifestyle entrepreneurs, my lifestyle dreams were pretty modest; I just wanted to make a living without having to work too many hours a week and hopefully find a way to heal myself once and for all.
Turns out working online was the answer for me. Within 6 months of starting my business I had completely recovered from chronic fatigue and started to believe I might actually be able to make a living from working online.
I began my business teaching yoga and seeing clients 1:1. I loved everything about my life. People started noticing my results and asked how they could build a business like mine. So I started coaching women in a more wholistic way of doing business and things kept growing. But again, after a few years, my business plateaued. Following a fair amount of introspection, I realised that while I:
- was by then, very knowledgable about business,
- was an expert at working in alignment – at ease and in flow,
- had developed a deep skill in facilitating other people to heal and clear their inner blocks, and
- had a great strategic brain,
I still had one major thing holding me back; my own visibility blocks. I realised that while I’d overcome many fears and past wounds, I’d never taken the time to understand how gendered fears were holding me back and how significant these were in creating my blocks to being more visible on my own terms.
I also realised I wasn’t the only woman I knew with these blocks. So that’s what I’ve been doing ever since; working with women to support them to be seen and heard in the world.
Since doing this work I’m so much firmer around setting boundaries. I’ve often been reactive to emails and FB posts.
Now I notice I give it a pause. I don’t respond immediately, but let some time go by and I’ve noticed that I often have a different, gentler response.

The work with the ‘good girl’ has helped me hone in on my need for success and perfection. This allows me to see where my choices have – positively and negatively – impacted my life.
I can now open myself up to new opportunities and experiences without the paralysing fear of failure.
