The amount of information that’s available to every individual in the twenty-first century is extraordinary. Emails, texts, phone calls, LinkedIn messages, tweets, televisions shows, YouTube videos, books, newspapers.
You can literally bombard your mind with so much information that it feels as though there were no space at all for you.
When you’re working on becoming more visible in the world, it’s important to exercise discernment around how you show up and where you show up. Because showing up online is a part of your job, it’s easy to fall down rabbit holes, forget why you clicked on an app in the first place and lose hours scrolling and browsing.
To rid yourself of this habit, it’s useful to take time to ensure you have a healthy relationship with the information that’s flowing into your world. That’s what this series is all about.
