Every time I’ve prepared to teach a new program over the last 5 years, I’ve gone through a rough time in the weeks leading up to it. All my insecurities arise and because energetically I’m already connected to the people who will work with me in the program, I’m also aware of your challenges, your fears, your blocks.

After watching this phenomenon a few times I suddenly worked out what it was; it’s the preparatory step that precedes transformation. Each of us is like the caterpillar that’s almost ready to transform into a butterfly. That stage right before we blossom is difficult and uncomfortable, and because we don’t know we’re becoming butterflies we fight like mad to sustain our lives as caterpillars. 

Joining an intensive mastermind experience is a transformational experience. It’s easy to buy smaller, shorter, less comprehensive programs with the idea that you’re making significant progress in your business. 

It’s always easier to make busy choices rather than strategic, life changing ones. 

It’s another thing altogether to commit to 10 months with a group of people you don’t know, working on re-imagining what’s possible for yourself and your business. The minute you start contemplating it, all your fears show up. Fears around money, fears around timing, fears around trusting other people, fears around making such a big commitment to yourself and your future.  

‘What if it’s not worth it?’ We ask ourselves. 

Here’s the deeper truth we’re really asking; ‘What if I’m not worth it?’ 

Issues of time, money and energy all arise as a smokescreen for a deeper fear; that we’re not enough. That we’re not worthy of success. That we’re not worth investing in. 

I know the pain of unworthiness. Every human being who’s ever dived deep into their soul knows that pain because it’s part of the human condition. 

If there’s one thing I’d love to do with my time on this planet it’s to eradicate the deep wound of unworthiness we all carry. 

I wish I could tattoo this on everyone’s brain (including my own); You are worthy. You are so worthy. Your business – that extraordinary and beautifully creative expression of you – is worthy. 

I have a vision that during this century we’ll build a world where healing is the new medicine. Where jobs and businesses that put creativity and humanity at the heart of their operations will be the norm. Where healers and creatives and social justice warriors are more influential than politicians and doctors, lawyers and multinationals. 

To realise that vision we need to stand up. Together. And collectively hold each other. 

It won’t happen if we go it alone. We know that. We tried that. It didn’t work. 

There’s a great deal of resistance being transmuted right now. The resistance that healers have to even being on the planet in the first place. The resistance that women have to upsetting others by choosing their own path and reclaiming their authentic selves. The resistance that so many have to receiving money, holding money, growing money. 

All of it’s coming up for release. 

That makes for a rocky time but when we’re done, I know that my vision will be realised. 

The time now is one of supporting one another as we clear our stuff, find our voices, and ease into a deeper and deeper willingness to be seen.

The world won’t make it without you. Each individual’s commitment to their healing and clearing, to their worthiness and their strength, is essential to the whole.
