The world is badly out of balance. It’s been tipped so far in favour of masculine values and ways of being (values that can be embodied and pursued by women and men) that the planet is on the brink of collapse, people are suffering epidemic levels of illness, there’s an ever growing divide between the rich and the poor, and oppressive systems which influence ways of thinking and being are maintaining an environment where a very small percentage of the population hold power at the expense of the rest.
The values I’m speaking of prioritise competition, push, and hierarchical ways of being above all else.
The lack of balance is destroying the planet.
Many women on the planet at this time are here to serve a very particular function; to restore the balance by bringing forth the voice and values of the feminine. By speaking up about the wisdom that has been lost, the ethic that has been disrespected, and to pull back the masculine that is out of control.
At the moment there’s an epidemic of women who have auto-immune diseases. It’s a consequence of the over-masculinisation of the planet. These illnesses can serve a purpose; teaching us to stop, to reconnect with body and the soul, to live from a different set of values.
And as we do, the values of surrender and intuition and collaboration can rid themselves of the label of ‘weak’ and can all be expressed through the voice of the warrior.
Because that is what is needed now.
There’s no time to waste on ‘Maybe I’ll do it in the future.’
The treatment of the environment is replicated in the treatment of women, of people of colour, of Indigenous peoples, of people with disabilities, of the treatment of the LGBTIA community.
It’s all a pattern of appropriation, violation, disregard, and disrespect.
All is either made to serve the machinery of ‘progress’ or is pushed aside or destroyed in favour of the agenda and perspective of the white, heterosexual, ably bodied, male.
It minimises humanity and destroys the environment.
So please, start speaking up, reconnect with the truth of yourself. You’re not a machine born to replicate a factory worker lifestyle, where you get up in the morning, go to work, output all day and then come home exhausted. That’s the consequence of an overly masculinised system which is still operating according to the values that arose during the Industrial revolution. It’s destroying the planet and leaving our children with nothing.
My hope is that the women of the world, through our own personal journeys – by releasing of the old patriarchal ways of being that we’ve all internalised – will find the voice of the feminine and we start speaking it loudly and together, as one, large collaborative voice. My hope is that that voice will be so loud that it will echo to every corner of the universe.
The world needs women who are connected to their inner wisdom, who understand that the world is out of balance, and who can be a vehicle of the feminine. These are the women who are being called to step forward at this time. Will you join us?
