Mastering time is one of the most sophisticated forms of self mastery. It requires first an understanding that all is one. That there’s nothing outside of oneself that isn’t within oneself. That the present moment is all, everything, eternal and complete.
It requires a quietening of the ego. That small self which demands to be in control, which sees everything as linear and assumes its job is to create connection because of its inherent inability to see the connection that already is. The small self which is more focused on filtering than on seeing.
Today I’m inviting you to step back. To view things from a new lens. To think differently about your life. About the evolution of your soul’s work.
It’s so easy to be caught up in the minutiae of life. To lose sight of what’s truly meaningful.
But when we take a step back – way, way back – we’re able to gain perspective. To give ourselves a break. To see a much larger game at play.
Then we access compassion. Then we find the gentle places in our hearts. Then we ease up on ourselves and on others and we move into the flow of eternity.
